Rheingau – A land full of culture
Location & Surrounding area
We welcome you to one of the most beautiful areas in Germany, full of cultural riches, and hope you enjoy your stay in our 3000 m2 large hotel. Our beloved Fine Living Hotel is settled between the wide and lazy Rhine River and lush vineyards in a town full of restaurants and seasonal wine taverns (Straußwirtschaften and Gutsauschänke), where people come together to enjoy a glass or two of good Rheingau Riesling.
The world tends to slow down a bit here and almost everything is focused on our biggest treasure: the wine. The Rheingau is known for its world class Rieslings and Pinot Noirs and they can be found everywhere you look. No wonder, as Oestrich-Winkel is the largest wine-growing city in Hessen.
Due to the Rheingau’s central location you can easily take a little break from everyday life and regain some new energy whilst hiking betwixt the Rhine and vineyards. However, as quickly as the daily drudges are escaped, you can be back at work just as fast. Good road and transport connections combined with its central location make the Rheingau a popular business conference destination.
It takes just a few minutes to get to the highway. Frankfurt Airport is only a good 30 minutes drive away. There are excellent railroad connections into the city and if you fancy crossing the Rhine, the ferry connection to Ingelheim is right in Oestrich-Winkel.
